The Homeowner called us after receiving a referral from a family friend. They were concerned they may have sustained damage to their roof after several storms hit their area. We scheduled an appointment for a free inspection. During the inspection, the roof was found to have sustained severe wind damage. The details of the findings were discussed with the homeowner, they filed a claim with their insurance company and were assigned an adjuster. Once the appointment had been made for the adjuster to perform an inspection, we were informed of the date and went out to meet the adjuster onsite. Once the insurance had everything in place we scheduled a date with the homeowner to begin the replacement. We then scheduled the delivery of the dumpster so that it would arrive early enough on the morning the work was to begin. First thing our crew did was remove the existing shingles, then examined the plywood to make sure it was in proper condition to have the new roof installed on it. Once it has been determined there was no need to replace the plywood the crew began to install the drip edge followed by the rake edge, ice and water shield. After they finished with that process they installed the ProArmor underlayment followed by the starter, shingles and new ridge vent and cap. Once the replacement was completed, the crew began a full cleanup of the work and surrounding areas. The made sure to remove all debris off the grounds and ensured all nails had been removed as well. The homeowner arrived home and was thrilled at how smoothly the process went and couldn’t believe how nice the new roof looked. With all the debris removed, the only sign that Armor Shield Exteriors had been to the house was the new roof. The homeowners were extremely happy they had received the referral and made the call.
