When it comes to a roof replacement, 9 out of 10 times, it is an unfamiliar process for the homeowner. It is important to do your research ahead of time to prepare and understand exactly what a roof replacement job will entail. To help you become familiar with the process, we have compiled a list of questions and are here to share them with you.
How long will the process take?
This depends entirely on how big of a roof it is. If your roof is on the smaller size, a roof replacement can be done completely in a day. For bigger roofs, this process can last two to three days. We will always give you, the homeowner, an approximate time on how long it will take (taking weather into account).
How much will this cost me, the homeowner?
We all know cost plays a huge factor when deciding on getting work done to your roof. For roof replacements, the cost varies depending on the size of the roof, the extent of damage on the roof, and how much the insurance company covers. Most times, your insurance company will cover majority, if not all, of the roof replacement. The best way to get a more exact quote is to have a professional come out and inspect your roof for you.
Do I need to be home when the job is going on?
This is all personal preference for you. If you feel better about being home when the job is going on, you are more than welcome to. If you choose to not be home, we have our project managers and employees who will oversee the project to make sure everything runs smoothly, from start to finish.
Once you suspect you have any damage to your roof, it is important to do your research and call a professional, like Armor Shield Exteriors, to perform a free inspection!
