The restoration technician is responsible for assisting the Mitigation department with completion of water-related and mold-related projects. The work can be very challenging at times but is also fun and rewarding. A good attitude, professional work practices and a desire to help people in need are requirements for the job. He or she must possess a valid and unrestricted driver's license, the appropriate math skills, and follows established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment. Good time management skills, and professionalism are all required for this position.
Duties include but are not limited to: cleaning up water and fire damaged buildings utilizing specialized equipment; cleaning walls, ceilings, floors, personal property; demolition, lifting heavy equipment and personal property; mold removal. Other job expectations include working overtime at a moment's notice and being on-call during non-business hours including weekends, and some holidays in emergency situations.
-Criminal background checks and a drug test will be done prior to employment.
-Reliable transportation to/from work.
-MUST have flexible schedule to work scheduled hours and be on-call.
-Be proficient in communications, both verbal and written.
-IICRC Certifications in Water Mitigation services desired and preferred.
-Able to drive extended work vans and box trucks.
